ABOUT
My name is Austin Castaldi, at 23-years-old on December 29th 2009 I was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. I currently live in Boston, MA and am was an inpatient in the Hematology/Oncology unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. I suppose for the time being I call room 765 of the Feldberg building home.
I started this blog 28 days into my chemotherapy regimen mainly as an outlet for some of my experiences since I was diagnosed -that and it took me the full 28 days before I was able to write in any meaningful way.

Very intelligent blog. Thank you. @Wes
Make a promise to yourself to do something incredible once you’re finished with all this. Climb Mt McKinley to show the cancer how much you’ve kicked its ass.
Good luck from Ireland.
Skydiving?
Base jumping?
Scuba in the Caribbean?
Chilling in Vermont?
Just wanted to give you all my best. I was a 28/m diagnosed with ALL last year. I also started a blog. It is so helpful in the healing process and helps with keeping people in the loop.
Now I blog more about what the disease has taught me than the disease itself. Hope you have time to check it out. http://www.aaronoutward.com
All the best and I would love to hear from you. If you have any questions about treatments and what to expect drop me a message.
